While owning and running The Shabby Creek Cottage, I noticed similar frustrations with several blogger friends. They wanted to learn how to grow their blog and biz, were spending hundreds of dollars on one expensive course after the next only to end up more frustrated. Essentially they were getting duped by successful bloggers that had only ever been successful at taking money from bloggers!

Way back in the day I got the crazy idea to start a blog, a digital scrapbook if you will. My husband and our kids had moved into my childhood home and I wanted to document all of the remodels we started. What started with something I assumed only my kids would ever be interested in, morphed into a full-fledged business that is now the sole financial provider for my family. 

What I realized along the way was that I had a natural tendency to approach blogging like a business, which resulted in getting VERY strategic in how I did everything. About as strategic as I plan my Disney World vacations!! So after seeing too many of my friends feel ripped off by another course that didn’t really have any valuable information I started sharing what I had learned.

Fast forward to three years ago and GinaLuker.com was born! I decided to create a space where I could teach new bloggers how to skip the bullshit and create the badass blog biz they had been lusting about in their dreams.
